Private, Semi-Private, And Team Pitching Lessons

We are pitching specialists who help aspiring pitchers increase their command of ALL pitches … No Walks!

Every kid is different, so we personalize the instruction around an individual pitcher. We Do Not teach drills. Drills make a pitcher mechanical and methodical, thus slowing down the body and emphasizing the arm. Improving your kid’s pitching mechanics begins with recognizing common faults that affect control and velocity, leading to an arm injury.

We concentrate on the body in each lesson. Proper body position, back leg action, and weight shift are critical components.

We place a 5 gallon bucket with a catchers glove on top of the bucket then place it on home plate. We have pitchers throw at the glove. The glove sits about knee height on the bucket. Your kid will learn to keep the ball down in the zone from the very first pitch.

That’s Pitching.

No one should pitch with pain!

If your son is pitching without proper mechanics, it can result in several problems, including shoulder and elbow injuries. These injuries can be severe enough to force a player to retire for weeks, months, or even a lifetime. To avoid injuries when pitching, athletes must practice proper mechanics.

Younger pitchers are more prone to elbow injuries that compromise their growth plates. These abnormalities can influence the pace of growth and even the structure of their bones as they mature. As your kid becomes older and more robust and begins to pitch faster, he is more susceptible to shoulder injuries such as rotator cuff tears, which occasionally require surgery to heal. In addition to good mechanics and functional strength, our arm care and recovery regimen assist pitchers in preventing injury.

How Can We Assist Your Pitcher?

Helping Kids Use Their Bodies, Not Their Arms!

Pitchers need arm care not just for getting ready for the game but also for staying injury-free. We use scientifically proven ways to assist pitchers in preventing injuries to their arms before and after throwing. From little league kids to Major League Baseball players, we help pitchers of all ages to learn the art of explosive pitching.

We provide one-of-a-kind pitching lessons while emphasizing mental games and lower body mechanics to eliminate arm injuries.

Video Analysis

Pitching a baseball is the “fastest, most stressful movement of any athletic movement globally.”

I videotape every lesson to help your kid understand his weaknesses. It allows me to be precise about what we need to work on. I take one step at a time, not rushing anything for the benefit of an aspiring pitcher.

Is there any wonder why so many pitchers get injured?

We can’t be guessing on your son’s mechanics.  We need to know! We can recognize common faults by videotaping regularly. Your son pitches; we videotape from 5-8 angles. Then we analyze what we see. Did we start right? Is the weight shift smooth? Are we putting too much stress on the arms? Is the landing foot pointed in the proper direction? All these questions are quickly answered through video analysis. You can’t fix what you can’t see!

We continue to videotape and study the motion.  Your sons’ ‘Domination’ as a pitcher starts to develop. How and why we move a certain way makes sense to him, and pain-free pitching is inevitable.

Arm injuries are at an all-time high, and they are getting worse. Video is the ONLY way to avoid injuries. Sadly, very few use it or understand it. Recognizing poor mechanics from video allows us to fix early faults that may otherwise lead to damage.

We provide in-depth video analysis all across the United States.

Video analysis of pitching and throwing activities is crucial for your kid’s successful baseball career. Since each kid is unique, therefore, we create a curriculum specifically tailored to meet your kid’s needs.

The Mental Aspect

Pitching is 90% Mental! It’s all about mental strength. How do kids interpret what is happening? Are they part of the problem or part of the solution? Our pitchers Dominate because they are mentally prepared for what is about to happen. Every time! The mental aspect of pitching is the most overlooked part of the art. Words like, “Come on, Johnny, just throw strikes” are too familiar these days. Why would you tell a pitcher that? We don’t blame parents if they say that, but a coach?

SIMPLIFY! What are we trying to do to the batter? Get him out.

Commanding pitches, ball movement, and speed control are disruptive to the hitter. The more your kid simplifies his movement and strategy, the less thinking he has to do.

We have a pre-game and bullpen checklist we go by to simplify the process. It’s written out and helps aspirant pitchers – like your kid – be mentally prepared for what they are about to do. The video allows us to know exactly what we need to work on. Understanding what is and is not working is the key to pitching Dominance!

Mental and emotional stability is just as crucial as physical strength. When it comes to baseball, EVERYONE — parents, coaches, and athletes – must be concerned about development. Winning is good, but long-term goals are achieved via development. The development takes place on the field as well as off it. Let’s concentrate on DEVELOPING your kid through mindful training.

Arm Care

Your kid will need velocity to play at the next level, whether for a high school team, a college program, or to make a professional career in baseball. We live in the velocity period, but our preoccupation with it has turned deadly! I see far too many guys under pressure to throw harder than their bodies are capable of.

This is not how things should work with your kid! Why?

Because these activities frequently result in injuries. Over the years, I’ve had several meetings with players and parents concerned about velocity; they realize the significance of velocity but not the mental game.

I help aspiring pitchers – like your kid – increase their command on  ALL pitches. No walks. I guide parents and kids on keeping arms safe while having more fun throwing strikes.

I believe that the time we spend in lessons is precious and beneficial to your kid’s development, but it is insufficient to maximize velocity potential. It’s important to remember that throwing mechanics are only one piece of the velocity jigsaw. Flexibility, mobility, mentality, and lower body mechanics are crucial in the velocity puzzle. I help my pitchers understand the importance of these aspects through my sessions. The overall strength is vital, which we may improve with lower body mechanics and mental games.
